The Sector for public greenery carries out activities related to maintaining public hygiene in the central city area, as well as maintaining the public green surfaces.

The activities related to maintaining the public greenery are directed towards:

  • Maintaining the existing public green areas in the city;
  • Creating and maintaining new green surfaces;
  • Maintaining the parks and trees;
  • Maintaining the greenery on pavements;
  • Cultivating its own seedlings and flowers;
  • It works on ideas in order to develop solutions for holticultural landscaping;
  • as well as maintaining the public cleanliness in the Municipality of Bitola (sweeping and cleaning the streets, plowing snow from bridges and pavements);
  • Placing communal equipment (resting benches, garbage bins etc.).
